"A huge sadness is upon Australia. After around 3 weeks of heavy rain Queensland started to flood. The water built up and up and in the end had nowhere to go but through people’s lands, homes and lives.
It’s been a devastating few weeks and this is a horrendous natural disaster. We’ve lost some good people, people who were ripped from us quickly and without mercy. Our country is in shock."
